The Theatre of Heaven
The Theatre of Heaven is about total creation, when devising through this method it is about your perspective as an artist. It is the actor's being an active part in the design process, creating exercises specifically for the actors involved, and the sole use of poetry as a source text when devising.
We are a team of reinventors, looking at showcasing new works created under a new art form, The Theatre of Heaven, with Actors at the forefront of the process, Design focus, and devising with poetry as our only source.

Dylan Mc Gloin- Co-Founder, Director/Designer
Dylan is a Lietrim-born artist, a graduate of ATU Sligo Performing Arts Theatre Design. As an artist based in the Northwest of Ireland, my goal is to always implement the stories that are not shown enough on stage and in arts, I am a huge advocate for allowing an open room development strategy of constant flux, if you are in the room I want to hear from you, I want to hear your perspectives how you perceive the work, how it is progressing. Working as well as Director/Designer in my new style of creation "The Theatre of Heaven" it is essential that I can bring collaborators into the room who want to bring their ideas and express opinions. Collaboration is the key aspect of how I create new work and to always push for harmonizing the design and play of devising a new piece to set is not just a thing on stage but a character and that there is a connection between actors and set.
Ellen Gilmartin- Co-Founder, Actor, Dancer.
Ellen is a graduate of ATU Sligo Performing Arts, Acting, BA Hons. She is also a trained dancer as well with eighteen years of experience in hip-hop, Jazz, and contemporary movements. She is very interested in creating physically led theatre, with movement as the form of storytelling, with a key aspect of wanting to push further, always the design aspect of every show, harmonizing with the performance.
